Google Bombing

This is an interesting topic. There is a way to manipulate google's search engine to show your website as the top result for any search term. Googles systems search for words with links in them, and sees which website is linked the most to that word and displays it first.

For example, if you type in the word "failure" or "miserable failure" into google, you get the official biography of President Bush. How is this done?....

A lot of bloggers or people with websites link the word "failure" or "miserable failure" to the Presidents biography, so that when you click on the word you are taken there immediatly.

It doesnt matter that the top result doesnt have the searched term in it.

This was all discovered by Adam Mathes.

Soon enough, this will lead to people selling there "google bombing services"

So, if many people were to link the word "cool" to my blog, eventually it would make it to the top of googles search results. like this.. blogger haneen
