Famous Syrian-American film producer killed in Amman bombings.

November 9, 2005.
The famous Syrian-American film producer, Mustapha Akkad, 68, was killed in Amman, Jordan when a suicide bomber detonated himself in the Amman Hyatt Hotel. He suffered serious injuries and a heartattack which lead to his death. Akkad's daughter, Rima, was killed instantly in the blast. Akkad will be buried in Allepo, Syria, his hometown.
